Jumping to 100 - Another 100th Day of School Activity

My Kindergartener recently celebrated her 100th Day of school. She had a celebration at school with lots of fun activities but me being me, I couldn't let it pass without having some 100th Day fun at home as well!

Yesterday I shared our 100 Dot Sticker Art
Today I want to share a fun game we played to practice counting by 10's to 100
Jumping to 100
This game practices counting by tens, number recognition
and gets kids moving - working on those gross motor skills!

Set up for this was simple & quick.
I used our couch pillows -
kids love to jump on furniture
they don't normally get to jump on so this added
an extra element of FUN!

I took some index cards and wrote #'s 10-100
counting by 10's and taped them onto the pillows
in random/mixed up order.

The Lil Divas had to start at 10 and
jump their way to 100!

They enjoyed it so much,
and wanted to do it over & over again.
I just kept mixing up the pillows
and they continued to have fun jumping to 100.

Of course a celebratory double fist pump
is a requirement once you make it to 100 :)

Have fun jumping to 100!
