A Mom's Year in Review - My Favorite Family Moments of 2011

2011 marked my first full year of blogging. I LOVE being able to look back through the blog posts at all the things we did throughout the year. We shared so much here, yet there is a lot that never made it onto the blog. Hard to believe, I know, but it's true!

2011 was a great year for our little family. I wanted to recap the year for the Lil Divas & relive our favorite moments. I am actually working on a photo book for us but I put together a quick list of my Fave Family Moments of 2011 to share with the Lil Divas & the Hubby and I decided to share it here as well since this blog was such a big part of our lives in 2011. Hopefully one day, the girls will look back at all of this fondly. I know I definitely will.

Beware - this post is photo heavy! I am an unapologetic "photoholic" when it comes to my Lil Divas  ;)

January 2011

Our 1st Farm/U-Pick Strawberry Trip of the year.
I LOVE visiting the farm! 

The Oldest Diva saw her 1st adult play - Beauty & the Beast!
It was an AMAZING Mommy-Daughter day!

Family trip to Universal Orlando. We had a blast!

 
February 2011

My Big Girl turned 5!

We had an UNFORGETABLE birthday party
at a working Ranch/Barn!

March 2011

We saw our 1st Disney Magic Show

Visited a drive through Safari & Zoo

Explored Miami Children's Museum

and took in a Disney on Ice Show!

April 2011

Family Bowling Fun

Our 1st Trip of the year to the BEACH!
I LOVE living in FL!

May 2011

More fun on the farm

Our first visit of the season to the water park

My baby turned 4 and celebrated with
a posh Princess Makeover Party!

June 2011

Our 1st Swamp Safari Adventure!

Summer Fun at the Beach

Fun days at the pool

and thrills at the waterpark

July 2011

Our 1st (EVER) Family Road Trip!
We drove from FL to Atlanta, GA

explored the Georgia Aquarium

took in the Atlanta Zoo

and visited the Coca-Cola Factory.

Next, we stopped in Hershey, PA

where we visited the Chocolate factory 

and spent a fun day at the amusement park!

 Then we drove on to my hometown - NY 
to visit family & friends and explore the city

On our way back home we stopped in 

Washington, DC and took in some sights

and a few museums

which all equaled to one FABULOUS Vacation!

August 2011
The Lil Divas tried mini golf for the first time
& LOVED it! We had so much fun!






My big girl lost her 1st tooth!

She was so thrilled to have her 1st visit from the tooth fairy

and she started Kindergarten while my baby started VPK!

Another fun Disney on Ice Show

October 2011
We took a trip to the Pumpkin Patch

and hosted our 1st Halloween Party -

Food, Costumes, Friends, Family, Games & lots of FUN!

November 2011
My Big Girl made the Kindergarten Honor Roll!
We are so proud of her hard work in school.

and she lost her 2nd tooth -

she is growing way too fast for my liking :(

December 2011
My Big girl went on her very first school field trip

and rode the school bus for the 1st time!

We went on a nighttime hayride

and made s'mores over a campfire.

We also took a Holiday Trip to Disney World -

the lights, the rides, the sheer excitement & joy

experienced by the Lil Divas were AMAZING!

and enjoyed a wonderful Christmas

What a Fabulous Year!
We were very blessed in 2011 & I am looking forward to seeing
what blessings, adventures, firsts & memories are in store for us in 2012.
