The Sunday Showcase 6/26 Linky Party - A Great Place to Showcase & Share Kid Friendly Crafts, Playtime Fun & Learning Ideas!

The SUnday Showcase
Welcome to another creativity filled & inspiring Sunday Showcase! If you are new here you might be wondering what the Sunday Showcase is & what it's all about!  Well, the Sunday Showcase is a Linky Party where you can "showcase" your fun kids crafts, play ideas and activities!

This party is always full of amazing ideas so be sure to check out what everyone has linked-up. We have no doubt you will be inspired, awed and ready to go off an create something fabulous yourself!

If you are here for the first time please take a moment to read our informational post for full details - we like to think this is a pretty fun and flexible place but there are a few guidelines.

As usual, we had such amazing activities and crafts posted last week - thank you to everyone who linked up! We are so inspired by your creativity and it's getting so hard to pick just a few to "Showcase"!

This Week's Showcase Features (chosen from last week's entries):
Melissa from The Chocolate Muffin Tree inspired us to create a fun Marble Run (can't wait to try this one!)

Alicia from McCrenshaw blog shared some wonderful homemade paint recipes for fingerpaints, rock paint, chalk paints, kool-aid paint & more - so fun! We will definitely be trying some of these.

Lori from La-La's Home Daycare had a lot of great ideas to introduce the letter U, including this Umbrella project:

Rashmie from Mommy Labs took us step-by-step on how to make a Handmade Aromatherapy Pillow!

If you have been featured grab a button - you've earned it!

Here are this week's "Showcase" crafts by your Hostesses:

Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas:
Eric Carle's A House for Hermit Crab Inspired Art
This past week we have been celebrating Eric Carle's Birthday by reading and crafting with some of his books! This was a fun & easy multi-art craft involving painting, coloring and decorating.

Eric Carle Inspired Seahorse
Eric Carle, is a well-known children's author and artist. For our "Under the Sea" crafting segment, we were very inspired by Eric Carle's fascinating book Mr. Seahorse. Not only where the illustration beautiful and fun to look at, but the amazingly true story as to how many male fish are the primary care giver stunned us as we read through this wonderful book!

Now it's your turn -
link up directly to any kid friendly crafts and activities you'd like to showcase.
They can be for play or learning we only ask that they be child centered.

**No giveaways, shops or inappropriate links please - they will be deleted.**

We want this to be a place where we can share ideas & be inspired by others!

  1. We've been having so much fun visiting all of our Eric Carle books as a whole unit, usually i fit them into other units based on their theme, but its been a fun way for kids to learn about what it means to be an author/illustrator. I like your hermit crabs! (mr.seahorse is my personal favorite, along with the clumbsy click beetle)

  2. We need to check that book out- my son loves the caterpillar book!

Thanks for taking the time to visit Mom to 2 Posh Lil Divas! I hope you will stay awhile to explore all we have to offer!
