Wordless Wednesday - An Unexpected Thank You Note

Best thank you card I have ever received:

 Thank you Mom and Dad.
I know that I don't say thank you but I love everything you do.
The heart is for thank you.
This is for you.
Than you.

Card written & illustrated by these 2 cuties!

LOVE them so much!

  2. A love letter to treasure and a keepsake for certain.

I saved many of my daughter's momentoes from the early years and to this day,(20-some yrs later), I find myself smiling when I look through all the tangible, glue, crayon, and glitter pieces of love.

So comforting to travel back in time every now and then.

Enjoy all those future reminders of the current magic of NOW. :D

  13. How sweet! They recycled that cardboard box into a thing of beauty! I know how happy your girls made you feel. Yes, these special cards and handmade gifts are such treasures from our children. I saved so many things that my son and daughter made for me and their father when they were children. As different holidays approach, I send my daughter one of her many priceless pieces of artwork to show to my little 6 yr. old granddaughter who loves seeing the wonderful things her Mommy made with love. My granddaughter also loves to surprise my daughter, both me and her other grandmother "Omi" (granny in German) with adorable cards & drawings. Bern, you are blessed with your 2 beautiful & loving daughters! :-)

    1. thank you Terri. My mom does that with my girls and they get such a kick out of seeing things that I made when I was little. She was really good about saving little things we made throughout our childhood & it is awesome to have them now! Hopefully, the trend will continue with me & my girls.
